Information Centre - FAQs
The time schedule is from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00 hours and from Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00 hours.
The time schedule is from 09:00 to 20:00 hours and Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00 hours.
Full import delivery: From Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 23:00 hours.
Full export reception: From Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 23:00 hours.
For full export reception or full import delivery out of these time schedules, the customer must require to the Information Center Office an extended Gate allowance.
Export delivery: From Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 21:00 hours, and Saturdays from 07:00 to 13:00 hours.
Import reception: From Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 22:45 hours and Saturdays from 07:00 to 14:45 hours.
For empty receiving or delivering out of this time schedule, the customer must require to the Information Center Office an extended Gate allowance.
The extended Gate allowance must be requested to the Customer Service area, and the time schedule is as below:
Full Container Terminal: Prior to 18:00 hours of the same day it is being requested
Empty Container Terminal:
- From Monday to Friday: The request should be made until 14:00 hours of the same day
- Saturdays: The request should be made until 18:00 hours of the previous Friday
- Sundays: The request should be made until 18:00 hours of the previous Friday

To request your full import charges every time you need, you may do it though our Webste www.montecon.com.uy, as long as you are a registered user.
1. Notice CSS (css@montecon.com.uy) with container numbers and redelivery date.
2. Provide Montecon CSS staff with a copy of the e-mail that you obtained from the Shipping Line Agent, authorizing the redelivery.
3. Once that CSS confirms you the costs, cash-up front payment is required prior to releasing the unit.
4. Montecon CSS generates the correspondent Work-Orders of Laden exit or Laden entrance (if the container should return full); or Empty entrance (if you strip the container cargo, and you return it to the Empty Container Depot).
5. Once you have ful-filled points 2 and 3, Montecon CSS authorizes Gate Control (copying our Control Room Terminal area), to deliver the full container to the exporter.
To request this information every time you need, you may do it through our Website as long as you are a registered user. Otherwise, please request a User and a Password to Montecon CSS.
In order to request a User, you must ful-fill the form which is in our Webste, as follows:
- Enter to www.montecon.com.uy .
- Press “Montecon Online”
- Press “User request” and a form should appear that you must print, and ful-fill
- Present the form filled in Misiones 1590 Floor 2nd., and within 24 hours Montecon CSS will answer to your e-mail, indicating in your form your new User and Password.
If you access to Montecon Website on the link Montecon Online, you may find the vessel line-up (Vessel schedule), where the estimated arrival of each vessel operated is shown, together with its stacking window opening and closing times.
Unles some specific liner serivces that require previous authorization of the Agent or the Vessel Line Planner, you may delivery your full export container with prior request to Montecon CSS and payment in Montecon Cashier Desk, until 6 hours before the vessel ETA.
The Shipping Agency declares to the Custms what is carried in every container.
Montecon documents the vessel after it has convalidated all its information, in the same manner that it has been previously documented by the Agency.
If a difference is detected inside the B/L in the number of goods, before the DUA has been generated, you must request to the Agent an amendment of this information.
The Agent has to request to Montecon an erase of the stock registry, proceed with the alteration of the information previously given, and then requests Montecon to generate a new stock.
If the difference is found once your DUA has been tramited, you must eliminate your DUA, and then proceed as it is explained in the previous paragraphs.
You must requiest via e-mail to Montecon CSS (css@montecon.com.uy) with container mark and number, vessel, voyage and description of goods picking.
You must request to Montecon Gate Control (Customs documentation) at gates@montecon.com.uy, to generate a stock in Montecon Terminal, aftewards your custom broker should generate a Re-Loading Simplified Message (Mensaje Simplificado de Reembarco, MS) from Montecon to the operating vessel (manifest), and then asks to the Shipping Agent to associate your container.
In such case, you should send an e-mail to Montecon CSS at css@montecon.com.uy and indicate us the releasing date and the custom broker that you employ. The custom broker fullstyle is required to generate the Laden releasing Work Order (Orden de Trabajo, OT).
Please, bare always in mind that you cannot change your releasing date to the real running date when you are physically requesting it.
We require you the following:
- Shipping Agent authorization for loading
- Storage payment until the loading date
- Re-Loading Simplified Message (Mensaje Simplificado de Reembarco, MS).
